Masaki Hemmi (辺見昌樹 Masaki Hemmi ) (born August 14, 1986 in Tokyo) is a Japanese footballer who currently plays for FB Gulbene in the Latvian Higher League.

He was the only player in the Puerto Rican league's history who is from Japan. Skillful and quick player can play for central midfielder and attacking outside defender. He moved to the state of New Mexico in the U.S with his family, when he was in high school. He spent time with soccer club NM Strikers FC. Edgar Castillo was a teammate of his. After he graduated from high school, he attended Colorado School of Mines and University of New Mexico in the NCAA. He was the captain of Colorado Rapids U23's and experienced playing for Portland Timbers U23's.
His played for a short period with a team in Germany, Viktoria 08 Arnoldsweiler from the Mittelrheinliga in 2010. In January 2011, he was invited to preseason camp with Major League Soccer club Colorado Rapids and played a few games for the reserve side. In March 2011, he became the first Japanese player in Puerto Rico with Sevilla FC Puerto Rico. In July 2011 Hemmi signed a contract with the Latvian Higher League club FB Gulbene and appeared in the club's league fixture against Skonto Riga, which was his debut on July 24, 2011. He played all 90 minutes and is given no. 5 shirt at the club.[1]
